Dean Lubowa Saava faces arrest for extortion

City journalist turned extortionist Dean Lubowa Saava faces arrest as investigations are underway to have him prosecuted for exortion and blackmail.

Lubowa isn’t name in the extortion game as he has previously been arraigned before court. It is alleged that Lubowa has been framing many people with a view of extorting money from the.

Lubowa was last December arrested by Kawempe police for jumping police bond after a land transaction he was involved in went bad.

“We are investigating Lubowa for many cases including none payments of land, vehicle but there are also complaints of extortion” a security source said

The former NBS/NTV journalist has previously also been arrested over offensive communication, cyber harassment, and blackmail.
In 2018, Lubowa was arrested for obtaining money by false pretence and human trafficking after 37 complaints against his ‘company’ Global Skills International, were lodged at the police. It was said he conned unsuspecting people of ShS126 million and sent them to the Middle East where they found no jobs but sex trade.
He recently took on city businessman Balaam Barugahara who he accused of grabbing Namasagali school’s land.

Lubowa has also tried to frame and extort money from city businessman Captain John Kasami. Through his YouTube Channel TMC TV (Africa Special show), Saava told his followers that Capt. Kasami mainly recruits youths from various universities in the country.
He further accused singer Eddy Kenzo of recruiting young people into homosexuality.
