Luwero pastors accuse Pr. Ssenyonga of conning them billions in “Bye Bye Biwempe” campaign

Pastors in Luwero ate crying foul and accusing fellow Pastor Ssenyonga of collecting monies in a campaign dubbed “Bye Bye Biwempe” where he was to build churches for them. The pastors on Monday released a press statement and is published as is below.

LUWERO PASTORS GROUND GROUP

19th April 2021

 PRESS RELEASE

RE: PASTOR SSENYONGA AND OTHER PASTORS UNFAIRNESS TOWARDS VILLAGE PASTORS.

We the pastors from Greater Luwero wish to express our concern towards some pastors from Kampala notably Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga of Christian Life Church Bwaise who have made it a habit to use us for their personal gains as opposed to God’s work and all our wellbeing.

Their action has left us depressed and disowned by our leaders who would otherwise serve as examples.

In the year 2005 we saw the start of the programme “Bye bye Biwempe”, where Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga made a countrywide reach out cry to all pastors. He claimed to have gotten a revelation from God to lead and build for us iron roofed churches to do away with all papyrus churches where he named the exercise “Bye bye Biwempe”. The conference was held at Nakivubo Stadium.

In this case every pastor/stakeholder or beneficiary was supposed to pay a fee of 20,000/= for registration and each and every person was to be responsible for his/her own upkeep during the conference including transportation.

Up to today no single church has been set up under this operation “Bye bye Biwempe” in our area yet money was collected.

Just recently before the 2021 polls Pastor Ssenyonga re-called all pastors especially from rural areas to his Bwaise Church saying the president wanted to meet us we sold our goats, chicken etc and made it to Bwaise.

The president came and met us briefly and thanked us for the support etc..

In our presence Pastor Ssenyonga told the president that all this was under him that we were good people but we had a lot of challenges especially poverty.

The president said he was giving us cows to improve our wellbeing but because those were times of foot and mouth disease (Kalusu) he said he had turned the cows into money which he handed over to Pastor Ssenyonga and we all thanked him.

But when he left Pastor Ssenyonga took all the money and we suffered going back empty handed.

Similarly on a third occasion some agents again related to Ssenyonga and other pastors approached us in Greater Luwero promising to help us get pineapple juice squeezing machines coordinated by Operation Wealth Creation and we were made to pay at least 100,000/= for a start but until today we have seen nothing.

We are even starting to think that such bad treatment and continued lies could be one of the reasons why NRM popularity failed in the just concluded elections.

Pastors lost confidence and did not mobilize normally. It’s for this reason that we humbly ask His Excellence The President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa and all relevant authorities to intervene so that we get all what is due to us especially justice and our loud cry of getting what was stolen from us.

Two journalists and four pastors from Butaleja have already been arrested following the kidnaps by Pastor Ssenyonga, plain clothed army, men and the pastor’s aide a one wasswa. Tortures and assault cases have already be registered under SD Rf. 23/13/04/2021 at Kasangati Police Station. This is all because of the running link on www.newsday.co.ug where the Pastor is accused of pocketing millions of money donated by President Museveni to help the country wide churches.

Our prayer is government to listen to our cry.

We ask government’s intervention and protection from this man.

Balaam Successfully ‘Ties’ The Rain After Cashing In 500M

After experiencing heavy rains and chilly windy conditions for the past one month, many Ugandans especially those in the opposition have been hoping that today’s highly guarded swearing in ceremony would be interrupted by the usual down pours Kampala has been experiencing.

Notable NUP supporters like Viboyo of Swang Avenue even came out early this morning and prayed that it rains cats and dogs for the ceremony not to take place.

Perhaps after reading many posts from the NUP supporters wishing the ceremony to flop courtesy of the heavy rains rain, Balaam came out and assured all NRM supporters to stay firm as he had ordered his gods to tie the rains.

It is alleged that Balaam was given over 500 Million to try and tie the rains in the sky, a duty he has successfully executed.

The veteran events organizer even went on his official Facebook page and bragged how his gods (the gods of the bachwezi) wouldn’t allow the rain to pour on such an important day.

”DON’T BE INTIMIDATED WITH FAKE WEATHER FORECAST, NO RAIN TILL AFTER OUR EVENT IN KOLOLO WE ARE DECEDENT’S OF ABA CHWEZI & WE ARE A BANYAKITARA . MZEE GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR 2ND LAST TERM” Balaam posted before giving an assurance that Kampala will have normal weather today ”NO RAIN TILL AFTER OUR EVENT IN KOLOLO . WAMA MZEE FUGA PAKA PAKA 2ND LAST TERM BEGINS TODAY . KYAWA

Mean while Ugandan security operations have ramped up around the capital ahead of Today’s inauguration of President Yoweri Museveni.  That includes tight security around the home of opposition leader Bobi Wine, who accused the government of fraud in January’s election. The security measures seem to be a warning to the opposition from authorities.

It’s a beehive of activity for security personnel ahead of Today’s swearing-in ceremony for Museveni. Kampala streets are guarded by foot patrols of soldiers, rooftop snipers, artillery pieces, armored vehicles and riot police.
