Shiver as Kabale Tycoon is Shot Dead by Unknown Goons at 7pm

Police in Kabale is investigating circumstances under which a 50-year-old tycoon was gunned down by unknown goons on Monday night.

Silver Turyahikayo a resident of Kisasi village, Kamuganguzi Sub County shot at three times at 7:50 pm killing him instantly.

Turyahikayo was a money changer and a shopkeeper at the Uganda-Rwanda border of Mirama in Ntungamo district.

Preliminary findings indicate that Turyahikayo was ambushed by 2 unknown thugs on a motorcycle where he had gone to supervise one of his houses under construction a few meters from his home.

Elly Maate, the Police Spokesperson for the Kigezi region says that the sound of bullets attracted residents in the area who alerted police officers at Katuna police station.
