Another busy weekend it was for Ugandan players abroad epitomized by goalkeeper Dennis Onyango’s success in South Africa.

Forward Karl Ikepazi Mubiru was nowhere to be seen as his Wycombe Wanderers lost 4-2 in penalties at Brentford following a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.

In the Burundi Primus League, Brian Allan Kizza and Steven Mugisha featured for defending Champions Le Messager Ngozi as they fell 3-0 at Flambeau du Centre in the 2020/2021 season opener.

Defender Joseph Othieno made his league debut for Musongati as they defeated their Burundian counterparts Inter Star 1-0 at home.

In the Swedish Suppretan, forward Alexis Bbakka played full time as his Umea FC side drew 1-1 against Brage while Ritah Kivumbi came on as a second half substitute as her Mallbackens W beat Alvsjo W 2-0 at home in the Swedish Elitettan Women.
