Police is trailing NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine on his way from Masaka under tight security.
This is as per a Facebook live stream video in which Police patrol officers are seen trying to intercept his convoy at Gaz Fuel Station just after the roundabout along the Masaka-Mbarara highway.
The Kyadondo East legislator, also 2021 presidential hopeful, is travelling from Kyotera in Masaka district where he had gone for the burial of a one Matia Mujjuzi.
The late Mujuzi was the father of NUP member and artiste Innocent Kiyaga alias Dr Hilderman.
Scuffle ensued between Bobi Wine supporters and police which prompted them to fire live bullets in the air.
However, supporters of Bobi Wine over powered the police and managed to escape with him.
It has been established that security has been beefed up along the Masaka highway and all checkpoints.
