Voting at Nakawa West Polling Station situated at the Sub County Headquarters is yet to commence after mild violence broke out between supporters of Magret Zziwa, a former East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) Speaker who now is eyeing the Nakawa West seat and those of Ben Sebuliba Kalumba.
Supporters of Zziwa accused their counterparts for allegedly ferrying in what they termed as ‘ghost voters’ belonging to the National Unity Platform party (NUP).
Zziwa’s supporters were bitter with their counterparts over ‘ghost voters’.
However, normalcy was later restored when police was deployed.
