The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has temporarily shifted it’s offices and relocated to Lungujja.
The Secretariat in a written statement, noted that they will seek refugee in Lungujja as the Namboole Stadium will be used as an institutional quarantine center.
The statement released by the Uganda Premier League Secretariat on Wednesday evening read that,
“Dear our esteemed clients, the government of Uganda has designated Mandela National Stadium as a COVID-19 Institutional Quarantine Centre.”
“As a result, the Uganda Premier League Secretariat has temporarily moved its operations to Lungujja at the FUFA Special Interest Groups offices until such a time when we will return to the old address at Mandela National Stadium.”
While at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole, the UPL offices were located at the Floor, Section 8, Suite 8-1-07.
Earlier on, the Secretariat set 17th October as the tentative date for the possible kick-off of the 2020/2021 Uganda Premier League season.
