Jinja based Bidco Uganda Limited Football Club (BUL FC) has announced striker Ambrose Kirya as their latest signing.
Kirya joins BUL as a free agent on a one-year deal following his contract expiration with Sports Club Villa.
Kirya joined the Uganda Premier League record Champions in 2015 and his five-year tenure ended at the end of 2019/2020 season.
Last season, he was the team’s top scorer with Eight goals in the league and helped SC Villa finish 3rd with 46 points from 25 games.
He had joined the 16-time UPL winners from Jinja Municipal Council Hippos in 2015 and is among the long list of players who have departed Villa for greener pastures in this transfer window.
The forward becomes the Eighth signing made by the Jinja outfits after Ismail Mugulusi, Aggrey Madoi, Davis Mutebi, Paul Mbazira, Peter Ozima, Kenneth Kibale and Elvis Bithum.
