Police are investigating circumstances under which Harriet Aber, a prominent farmer in Gulu, Northern Uganda, died.
In her 40s, Aber was Wednesday morning found dead at her residence in Kasubi Sub ward, Layibi-Bardege Division in Gulu City.
Aswa River Region Police spokesperson, Patrick Jimmy Okema said detectives are probing the mysterious death.
“We have cordoned off the residence to facilitate investigations,” Okema told journalists in Gulu today morning.
The deceased was a close associate of Operation Wealth Coordinator, Gen Salim Saleh.
Aber was previously cited in alleged acts of land grabbing in Nwoya and Amuru districts in Northern Uganda.
