DJ Erick Morillo, best known for his 90s hit, “I Like to Move It” has died at the age of 49.

According to Police in Miami, his body was found at Miami beach and the cause of his death is still unknown.

His song “I like to Move it” was played worldwide and it earned him a number of DJ awards.

It is the same song that was used in popular animation “Penguins of Madagascar” as King Julio’s dancing song.

His death comes a few weeks after he was arrested on sexual assault charges.

The alleged victim claims that she resisted sexual advances from the DJ but when she woke up in the morning, she was at his place and they were both nude.

Morillo turned himself in to the Police on August 6 and was later released on police bond of USD 25,000 as he waited for the court hearing which was slated for Friday.

Police also confirmed that there was no form of foul play so the cause of death would be determined by a medical expert.
