Born in 1977, September 1, today singer Moses Ssali popularly known as Bebe Cool turns 43. Four decades and counting and Bebe is still a relevant figure in Uganda’s music industry and lately, a political influencer of the regime.
We know Bebe Cool for many things but let us agree that nobody knows him better than his wife, Zuena Kirema. The couple has been married for over 17 years.
Through her social media platforms Zuena has written a message to celebrate her husband’s birthday. In her message, Zuena describes Bebe as her ‘mentor’, a man who any woman would desire to have, and a wonderful father.
We all know that in Uganda it’s an offence for a girl to get married before making 18 years but according to Zuena, she fall for Bebe Cool when she was 16-years-old.
“At the age of 16 I knew he was the one I was going to spend my entire life with…you’ve mentored and guided me to the right path, you have made me the best mother our children will ever ask for, good example of a hard working and caring woman in society, best daughter to my parents, best sister to my siblings and lastly best wife to you. I love you today more than yesterday my superman. Happy 43rd my love and to many more years INSHALLAH,” Zuena Wrote.
Kabako’s wife Jazirah Namuddu Ddumuna publicly revealed that she fell for Team No Sleep singer Yusuf Ssenabulya alias Kabako because of his energy the first time they met at Dejavu bar and Lounge in Kansanga.
She narrated that when she saw Kabako pull off energetic performances on stage, she immediately began to imagine how they would be if locked in a room together.
Fortunately, Kabako was also interested in her and the pair started dating as they raised their daughter who is now eleven years for the seven years they have been together.
Since she deeply loved someone energetic, Jazira Ddumuna stated that she dislikes soft men and bragged about how a soft man wouldn’t handle her.
I fell in love with Kabako because of his energy. You can see me as well, I need a man who has energy. I don’t like soft men.
Can a soft man handle me? No baby no. A soft man wouldn’t handle me.
Jazira Ddumuna
She went on to promise her online in-laws of how she will very soon give birth for Kabako without putting her under pressure as other celebrities do.
Masaka city businessman Emmanuel Lwasa Kaweesi will live to forget BBS Telefayina presenter Dianah Nabatanzi in his entire life and in death.
Emmanuel Lwasa who broke up with Dianah Nabatanzi and got married to Angel Kawunda narrated how the former taught him a lesson about the modern-day relationships that he will never forget in his entire life.
Basing on how Nabatanzi treated him, Lwasa noted that if the dead have dreams in their graves, he will have nightmares about her for having conned him when in their relationship that lasted five years.
While speaking in an interview on Bukedde TV, Emmanuel Lwasa stressed how his relationship with Dianah Nabatanzi woke him from sleep and cleared the rural-urban mindset that he has always had.
The two who met during a TV interview and decided to take their relationship to a whole new level broke up when Nabatanzi failed to give birth for him.
When Lwasa was asked to compare Nabatanzi and Desire Luzinda, he explained that the former was more of a gold-digger than the latter. He even ranked the two giving Nabatanzi 90 percent and Desire Luzinda scored 3 percent at gold-digging.
He apologized to Desire saying he mistreated her during their relationship reasoning that she was a down to earth person unlike Dianah Nabatanzi.
Lwasa also warned Dianah Nabatanzi to mind what she talks about him saying if she ever comes out in public, he will display all her dirty linen in public without fear or favor.
Because he does not judge the secular music stars, Pastor Wilson Bugembe is the popular man of God amongst celebrities and Sheebah Karungi concurs.
From the days of celebrity Sunday at Light The World Church in Nansana, Wilson Bigembe has been a favourite for most celebrities.
Todate, many still find peace at his church than elsewhere and they usually attend the Sunday service there.
Away from the VIP treatment that is accorded to them while there, celebrities feel like Pastor Bugembe does not judge them like other church leaders do.
Sheebah shares the same insight. Through an Instagram post on Thursday, Sheebah revealed that Bugembe is her favorite man of God.
My favourite man of God. Second time I’ve met him, but I know a genuine man when I meet one.
Thank you Pastor Wilson Bugembe for seeing all of us with no judgement whatsoever. Seeing beyond human masks is also a gift from God.
Sheebah Karungi
Sheebah’s point of view about the pastor is widely shared by several other entertainers who bombarded the comment section in approval of the man of God.
We can all agree that Pastor Bugembe has done well to bring the secular music industry closer to church and the gospel, and vice versa.
Well done!
