With just hours after being released by Vipers Sports Club, the dreadlocked forward Tito Okello is poised for another lease of life having agreed personal terms with Kenyan Premier League Champions Gor Mahia.
According to a reliable source which preferred anonymity, Okello has agreed to sign for Gor Mahia on a two-year deal and is set to be unveiled in the next few days.
“OFFICIAL…….Tito Okello has agreed a 2-year deal with Kenyan Premier League Champions Gor Mahia and will sign today,” the source told ChimpReports.
The lanky forward was among the 13 players whose departure was confirmed by the Venoms on Monday as reported by this website.
He joined Vipers SC at the start of the 2018/19 season after a brief spell at Benefica De Macau.
He previously featured for Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), BUL and Tanzania Premier League outfit African Lyon.
Other Ugandan players who have recently played for Gor Mahia are Jimmy Bageya, Godfrey Walusimbi, Daniel Muzeyi Sserunkuma, Khalid Aucho, Erisa Ssekisambu, Hashim Ssempala and Juma Balinya.
