A day after Vipers SC appointed Ex-FIFA referee and former FUFA CEO, Charles Masembe to the new sporting director role, the club has promoted Steven Mulindwa to the new General manager role.
Mulindwa who holds a Master’s Degree in International Business and Economics from the University of Surrey in United Kingdom, has served as the club’s Logistics manager for the past two years.
His major role will be overseeing general duties at the club and lead the core research team that will be charged with holding the club vision of becoming the best club on the continent.
Mulindwa believes his appointment to the new post created will help the club achieve it’s vision basing on the versatility in the team.
“I am grateful for the new appointment and with the versatile team we have, I know we can support each other to always work and achieve the vision of the club. My office door will always be open for new ideas that we can implement,” Mulindwa told the club website.
He will directly report to the club president Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa and the Board of Directors and help carry out other duties as assigned by the above offices within the club structures.
Vipers SC will take part in next season’s CAF Champions League, Uganda Premier League, Stanbic Uganda Cup and the Pilsner Super Eight Championship.
