Uganda Cranes Midfielder Yasser Mugerwa has been officially unveiled at another Ethiopian Premier League outfit, Sidama Buna Football Club.
Mugerwa joins his new destination on a one-year deal, hours after confirming his departure from Sehul Shire Football Club, another Ethiopian side.
Sidama Buna becomes his fourth Ethiopian team in his career having played for St. George, Fasil Kenema and lately Shire Indaselassie.
“The club is yearning for a league title and that is the reason they hired me,” Mugerwa told ChimpReports after his unveiling on Wednesday.
Last season, the Uganda Cranes midfielder made 17 league appearances for Sehul Shire FC putting six assists to his name.
Previously, Mugerwa played for Super Cubs, Nkumba University, Sports Club Victoria University and URA FC on the local scene before crossing boarders.
His overseas professional career boosts of clubs including Orlando Pirates (South Africa), Saint George, Fasil Kenema and Sehul Shire FC all from Ethiopia.
