FUFA Big League side Nyamityobora Football Club has confirmed the appointment of Sadam Mugaru as their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Formerly at Mbarara City Football Club, Mugaru has signed a two-year contract with Abanyakare that will keep him at the club until the climax of 2021/2022 season.

Mugaru takes charge of the CEO role succeeding Eddy Kateregga Kayemba who departed the Club.

The club earlier on beefed up their Technical bench with the appointment of promotion expert Richard Makumbi as their tactician whose immediate task is guiding the team to the top flight.

In the pursuit for glory Nyamityobora has already signed a couple of players including Mahad Rashid, Fauz Ismail Aliganyira, Mubarak Kakooza, Brian Nyabwina and Juma Sabiti.

The club was among the FUFA Big League teams that were on Thursday fined a tune of Shs 400,000 for it’s failure to submit minimum required details regarding next season’s player and staff contracts alongside the functioning Secretariat.

The forthcoming FUFA Big League season is ear-marked to kick off on the 29th of October 2020 should the government lift the current lockdown and give greenlight for sports resumption.
