Four-time Presidential Candidate, Dr. Kizza Besigye has come out to condemn Police for assaulting Kawempe North Councilor Rashida Naluwooza on Tuesday.

It is understood that this scuffle followed Police’s refusal to let her access Forum for Democratic Change’s (FDC) headquarters in Najjanankumbi.

Communicating via his face book page on Wednesday, Besigye scolded Police for being used to brutalize Ugandans and yet they are “not any better.”

“In spite of using Uganda Police Officers (and other security officers) to brutally repress people opposed to the NRM/M7 junta (often against their will), they are very poorly rewarded. Greatest majority live in humiliating poverty!” Besigye retorted.
